“The same Juventus of the first 13 matchdays. We cannot afford to underestimate any team; we have to deliver team performances regardless of how the game went on Sunday. As for the Scudetto, as I have said before that is not our goal, our goal is to reach and go back in the Champions League”
Are Chiesa and Vlahovic confirmed ther up-front?
“They had a good performance, but the others are also in good shape. There were moments when Kean and Milik played as starters; this year, our goal is to return to the Champions League. I told the boys there will be moments when someone will play less. Every now and then, I think of Perin, who is a very high-level goalkeeper but plays less.”
There has been much talk about your future in recent days…
“There is always talk about the future during this period of the season, but don’t forget I have a contract with Juventus until 2025; we are working together for the future of the club. I get along very well with the new executives; there is good harmony to ensure Juventus has an important future in this league. People come and go, but the Juve DNA remains; we have to keep quiet and work with a low profile.”
