Sarah Palin’s partner, former NHL player Ron Duguay, is receiving prayers and support from his family as he continues a difficult battle with Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his liver.
His daughter, Shay Thomas, shared a hospital photograph on Sunday showing her kneeling beside her father’s bed, with her hand resting on his lap. In the accompanying message, she asked those who care about him to pray.
Palin has frequently been by Duguay’s side during treatment, including in family videos showing her feeding him in his hospital bed.
The former Alaska governor and the 69-year-old hockey favorite have been linked since 2022. Although they have not publicly confirmed their relationship status, his daughter has described them as “very close.”
