Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have shared another glimpse into their wedding plans, but one unexpected moment during a recent podcast appearance ended up catching Robach completely by surprise.
The engaged couple appeared on Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast, where hosts Bill and Giuliana Rancic asked whether they had already chosen a date for their wedding. Holmes quickly answered that they had, a response Robach did not appear to expect.

“You’re just telling me now on the podcast that you’re okay with that date?” Robach asked, reacting with surprise after hearing Holmes’ answer. Holmes explained that sitting down with the Rancics made him feel comfortable enough to confirm the update publicly.
While the couple confirmed they have settled on a wedding date, they also revealed that one important part of the celebration will remain private for now.
Holmes said there is a specific way they want to get married that would be especially meaningful to them, but added that they are not yet ready to share what that plan involves.
Looking ahead to married life
The conversation also turned to what the couple hopes to experience together after the wedding.
Robach noted that this will be the third marriage for both of them and said they want to make the most of the years ahead by focusing on enjoying life together.

Their shared bucket list includes traveling to Thailand, going shark diving and possibly spending time living in another country. Robach said the idea of living abroad is firmly on their list, while Holmes explained that many of the experiences they hope to enjoy revolve around travel, discovering new places and spending time with their children.
He added that, at the moment, the wedding itself and completing the Las Vegas Half Marathon are among the milestones they are looking forward to the most.

Their journey to the altar
Robach and Holmes announced their engagement in October 2025 on their Amy & T.J. podcast, revealing they had actually become engaged about a month earlier.
The couple’s relationship first made headlines in November 2022. They later divorced their respective spouses and eventually lost their roles as co-hosts of GMA3 following the public attention surrounding their relationship.
Before their engagement, Robach had also spoken about wanting a simple wedding if she married again. During a previous episode of the couple’s podcast, she said she would be happy with a very intimate ceremony and even suggested that eloping somewhere far away, such as Fiji, would appeal to her.
Although many details remain under wraps, the couple has now confirmed that their wedding plans continue to move forward, even if one meaningful part of the ceremony is still being kept a secret.
