Sister of alleged White House dinner attacker reveals warning signs before incident
The sister of the man accused of attempting an armed attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner has provided new insight into his mindset, describing a pattern of increasingly extreme political views and troubling behavior in the lead-up to the incident.

Avriana Allen told investigators that her brother frequently made what she described as “radical” statements about politics and spoke repeatedly about needing to take action to address issues in the country, according to sources cited by The Post. She also said he often referenced having a “plan,” raising concerns about his intentions.
Sister details fixation and preparation
According to the same report, Avriana Allen informed the Secret Service and Montgomery County Police that her brother had become deeply consumed by world events. She said his comments were not occasional, but constant, with repeated mentions of a broader mission he believed he needed to carry out.

She further disclosed that he had purchased multiple firearms, including two handguns and a shotgun, and stored them at their parents’ home without their knowledge. She added that he regularly visited a shooting range, where he trained in preparation.
Avriana Allen, 27, is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and currently works at the Pew Research Center in Washington, D.C., according to her LinkedIn profile.
Attack attempt halted by Secret Service

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Cole Allen, 31, allegedly attempted to enter the high-profile event with the intention of targeting members of the Trump administration. The gathering was attended by nearly 3,000 people.
He was stopped after exchanging gunfire with Secret Service agents and was taken into custody before any fatalities were reported. One agent was struck in a bulletproof vest and is expected to recover fully.

Sources told The Post that Allen had sent a manifesto to family members shortly before the incident, outlining his motivations and referring to himself as the “Friendly Federal Assassin.”
Officials later confirmed that a family member had contacted police prior to the incident after receiving the document, alerting authorities to the potential threat.
