Vanessa Trump’s concerns grew ahead of Tiger Woods’ arrest after Florida crash
In the weeks leading up to Tiger Woods’ arrest following a two-vehicle crash in Jupiter, Florida, concerns reportedly surfaced within his personal life.
According to a source cited by the National Enquirer, Vanessa Trump became increasingly uneasy about Woods’ behavior when they were apart, fearing he could fall into patterns that might harm himself.
The report suggests that as their relationship deepened, those concerns intensified rather than eased. The couple, who made their relationship public roughly a year ago, had reportedly grown closer alongside their families in recent months.
Crash leads to arrest on misdemeanor charges
The situation escalated on Friday when Woods was involved in a crash around 2 p.m. ET on a two-lane road near his home. Authorities say a pickup truck towing a pressure washer trailer was slowing to turn into a driveway when Woods, driving a Range Rover, approached at a speed that prevented the other vehicle from clearing the road.
Local sheriff John Budensiek stated that Woods attempted to pass but struck the trailer, causing his vehicle to overturn onto its side. Despite the severity of the rollover, no injuries were reported, and Woods exited the vehicle through the passenger side door.
Following the incident, Woods was taken into custody and processed at a local police station. He now faces two misdemeanor charges: driving under the influence and refusing to provide a urine sample.
Relationship strain and past context resurface
The events have brought renewed attention to Woods’ personal history, particularly as his current relationship faces reported strain. According to the National Enquirer source, Trump closely monitored Woods’ activities when they were not together, relying on mutual connections for updates.
The source claimed Woods felt restricted by this dynamic, while Trump’s concerns were tied to fears of him repeating past behavior. “The more serious they get, the more fearful she becomes that Tiger will slide into bad habits and self-sabotage,” the source stated.

Woods’ past includes a widely publicized 2009 incident involving both a car crash and revelations about his private life. That earlier episode followed a dispute with his then-wife, Elin Nordegren, and led to a reckless driving citation after he crashed his vehicle outside his Florida home.
The latest incident, combined with reported concerns within his relationship, places renewed focus on the intersection between Woods’ personal life and recent legal troubles.
