Fox News host Sean Hannity is offering a rare look into his relationship with fellow Fox personality Ainsley Earhardt, speaking candidly about their engagement and the life they have built together away from the spotlight.
During a recent appearance on The Katie Miller Podcast, Hannity, 64, reflected on the bond he shares with Earhardt, 49, explaining why their relationship works despite both being high-profile television figures.
The longtime broadcaster described their connection as one built on shared values, faith, and a mutual preference for a quieter lifestyle centered around family.

“When you find the right person that is completely supportive of all that I do, and we have the exact same values, and we love to do the same stuff,” Hannity said on the podcast.
He added that their time together is often simple and focused on family rather than public appearances or social events.
“We’re not really into big social scene stuff. We like family dinners, we like to be with our kids and just have downtime, just have fun and just be with each other,” he said.
Hannity shares two children with his former wife Jill Rhodes — daughter Merri Kelly Hannity, 24, and son Sean Patrick Hannity, 27. Earhardt has a daughter, Hayden Dubose Proctor, 10, from her previous marriage to Will Proctor.
Hannity told podcast host Katie Miller that spending time with Earhardt brings a sense of calm that contrasts with the pace of his career.
“It’s kind of like when I’m with her, I’m on vacation,” he said. “It just takes me out of my work mode.”
Engagement rooted in faith
The Fox News host also discussed the moment he proposed to Earhardt in December 2024. The proposal took place at their home church, a setting the couple later described as meaningful given the role faith plays in their relationship.
Hannity told Miller that asking Earhardt to marry him felt natural.
“It was as natural as us sitting here,” he said, adding that the only thought that crossed his mind was the possibility she might decline.
She did not.
The couple later said choosing a church for the proposal felt like the “perfect place,” noting that their relationship is grounded in their shared faith and commitment to putting God first.
A relationship that stayed private for years
Despite both being prominent figures at Fox News, Hannity and Earhardt kept their relationship largely out of public view for years.
Rumors surrounding their romance circulated for a long time before the Daily Mail reported on the relationship in 2023. Until then, both personalities declined to comment publicly on the speculation.

The pair has since offered only occasional glimpses into their personal life.
During the 2024 holiday season, Earhardt shared images from a winter trip to Paris on Instagram in a post later captured by the Daily Mail. The photos included a family selfie taken in front of the Eiffel Tower, as well as pictures outside the restaurant Chez Julien and near the Louvre Pyramid.
One photo from the trip showed the couple smiling together at dinner, with Earhardt wearing a white silk wrap top and diamond stud earrings.
The relationship between the two Fox News hosts has also received praise from President Donald Trump, who previously described them as “two great people” and said they had the “greatest” relationship during a call to Fox & Friends.
Although they continue to keep much of their personal life private, Hannity’s recent comments offer a rare window into a relationship that has remained largely out of the public s
