A new report has cast fresh attention on the relationship between Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump, suggesting tensions may be emerging behind the scenes.
The 50-year-old golf icon and the 48-year-old former model made their relationship public last March. Most recently, they were seen together at the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, where they posed for photographs and appeared affectionate in front of cameras.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the dynamic between them may be more complicated than it appears.

A source told the outlet that Vanessa is uneasy when it comes to Woods and other women. “She’s insecure when it comes to him and other women,” the insider claimed, adding that she keeps close tabs on his movements and checks in with mutual acquaintances when they are apart.
The report further alleges that Woods feels “henpecked and stifled” as the relationship grows more serious. The source said he wants to be judged on his current actions rather than his past, but that concerns about his history continue to weigh on the relationship.
A past that still follows him
Woods’ personal history has long been part of his public narrative. He married Swedish model Elin Nordegren in 2004 after meeting in 2001 and becoming engaged two years later. The couple welcomed two children — daughter Sam in 2007 and son Charlie in 2009.
Their marriage ended in 2010 following revelations of alleged infidelity. Reports at the time stated that Woods was involved with multiple women, including Rachel Uchitel, and the fallout marked one of the most dramatic reputational crises in modern sports.

According to the National Enquirer’s source, Vanessa’s greatest concern is that history could repeat itself. The insider claimed she fears Woods could “slide into bad habits and self-sabotage,” despite his reassurances. “He’s told her time and again there’s nothing to be paranoid about — she’s the only girl for him,” the source said.
Vanessa, who was previously married to Donald Trump Jr., shares five children from that marriage. She wed Trump Jr. in 2005, and they separated 13 years later before she filed for an uncontested divorce in 2018.
Body language sparks fresh discussion
Public appearances have also drawn analysis. In comments to the Daily Mail, body language expert Judi James examined footage of the couple at the Genesis Invitational, describing their display as “awkward-looking” and “performative.”
In a TikTok video showing the pair posing together, Vanessa was seen resting her head near Woods’ shoulder and wrapping her arms around him before inviting her 18-year-old daughter, Kai Trump, into the frame.
James told the Daily Mail that Woods’ smile appeared quick and lacking “authentic signals of happiness or delight.” She added that he seemed wary after posing alone before transitioning into the family photo moment.

According to James, Vanessa appeared more in control of the staging, using gestures and positioning to project closeness. She suggested that inviting her daughter into the image conveyed the impression of a strong family unit, even if the lead-up to the shot suggested some awkwardness.
The report’s claims, combined with expert commentary on their public appearances, have fueled questions about whether insecurity and past scandals are casting a shadow over the relationship.
For now, Woods and Vanessa continue to appear together at high-profile events. Whether private tensions exist remains based solely on the claims attributed to sources and public observations.
