A woman goes to her doctor for a checkup.
The doctor looks at her chart and says, “Now, what are you planning to do about that excess weight you’re carrying around?”
The woman sighs. “I just can’t seem to lose the weight. It must be an overactive thyroid.”
The doctor reviews her test results and shakes his head.
“The tests show your thyroid is perfectly normal.”
She looks confused. “Really? Then what’s causing it?”
The doctor leans back in his chair and says,
“It’s not an overactive thyroid… it’s an overactive fork.”
