Romelu’s first words as a new Roma player: “Excited by the fans, I have been impressed by the ambition of the Friedkin family.”
Following the deposit of the contract and the announcment by Lega Serie A website, AS Roma also officially presented the arrival of Romelu Lukaku in ‘Giallorosso’.
The Friedkin-owned club has posted a video of the Belgian striker on their social media, exciting the fans on the web.
“Here he is! Romelu Lukaku is a new ‘Giallorosso‘!” reads the caption accompanying the video published on their accounts.

Lukaku, who is 30 years old, has scored 280 goals in 589 games in his career as well as helping his teammates with 93 assists.
With the Belgium national team (with which he made his debut in March 2010 at 16 years and 294 days old) he has made 108 appearances, and scored 75 goals (all-time record).
He won a Belgian championship with Anderlecht, an FA Cup and a Club World Cup with Chelsea, a Scudetto, an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup with Inter.
Lukaku has also played for West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Manchester United. With the Red Devils and Chelsea he had already been under the orders of José Mourinho, and this will be their 3rd time together.
