Prince Harry and Meghan accused of using the popularity of the late princess. What did they do?

According to their critics, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle base their business strategy on imagery inspired by the late Princess Diana.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, recently released their Christmas card for this year. Among the photo collage was an image featuring their children.

As usual, the royal couple chose to show Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet from behind, and, as always, the photo drew significant attention, fueling conspiracy theories.

The image shows Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with open arms, welcoming their son and daughter as they run joyfully toward them, surrounded by pets. However, speculation has arisen that this idyllic scene may not have been as spontaneous as it seems.

Fans of the British royal family were quick to compare the Sussexes’ photo to an old paparazzi image of Princess Diana.

Charles and Diana were on a Canadian tour at the time, and their sons joined them. The photo shows the princess greeting her children with a big smile and open arms.

Comments quickly flooded social media:
“Can Meghan take a picture without copying Diana?”..“How does Harry not feel ashamed for using his own memories for marketing?”“They spend all day thinking of ways to use Diana for PR.”….“They’re exploiting Diana in the most ridiculous way.”….“Will they ever let Diana rest in peace?”

Princess Diana was known for her relaxed approach to parenting, a contrast to traditional royal family norms. Royal biographer Ingrid Seward wrote in her book Prince Philip that Charles’s “emotional restraint” stemmed from his upbringing, something Diana also acknowledged.

“Diana believed that if Charles had been raised in a more normal way, he would have been better equipped to handle both his own emotions and hers,” Seward wrote. She added that Diana once remarked, “The only thing Charles knew about love was how to shake hands.”
