A royal expert has weighed in on the ongoing fallout between Meghan Markle and the British Royal Family, suggesting that she “will never set foot in the UK again.” This comes as the Invictus Games, an event strongly supported by Markle and her husband Prince Harry, is set to return to the UK in 2027.
Kevin O’Sullivan of TalkTV expressed his belief that while Prince Harry will likely attend the games, Meghan Markle will not. “I predict that Prince Harry will attend, but I bet you Meghan does not,” he stated. “I don’t think Meghan will set foot in this country ever again.“
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield agreed with O’Sullivanโs assessment, noting that Markle has shown little desire to return to the UK. “The last time she was traveling with Prince Harry, there was a stop in London, but she did not touch down,” Schofield explained. “She very much dislikes the UK because she feels like the UK dislikes her.”
Schofield also found it peculiar that the Invictus Games, a project closely associated with both Harry and Meghan, would choose the UK as a venue given Markle’s sentiments. “It’s odd that they have chosen this venue when the Invictus Games has become something they do so much together,” she remarked.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harryโs relationship began in 2016 and led to their marriage in 2018. However, tensions quickly arose within the royal family, particularly involving Prince William’s attitude towards Markle. The British mediaโs relentless scrutiny only exacerbated the situation.
In 2020, Markle and Prince Harry decided to step down from their royal duties and relocate to California. Despite their departure, there are indications that they remain open to mending their transatlantic relationships.
While Prince Harry might be seen in the UK again for events like the Invictus Games, the same cannot be said for Meghan Markle, whose strained relationship with the UK shows no signs of improvement.
