Ziliacus won’t stop: “With me, Mbappe and Haaland wouldn’t be just a dream for Inter.”

Finnish businessman Thomas Zilliacus continues to talk about his plans for Inter after laying the groundwork for another big offer for the club.

The billionaire businessman announced through social media on Monday that his investment company, XXI Century Capital, had secured deals with investors worth $2.5 billion US dollars in preparation for a new offer for the Nerazzurri.

The Zhang family, who own the Inter club, have been struggling with financial challenges since the COVID pandemic hit the ‘Nerazzurri‘, but recent comments from the President reassured Inter fans of their staying in the club for many years to come.

Speaking to TVPlay as reported by fcinternews1908, Zilliacus outlined his vision for Inter should the Zhang family accept his offer.

“We firmly believe that, under our ownership, Inter can become an even greater club than it is today. This is not a criticism of the current club, which has excellent management and a great coach.

“Our goal would be to expand on this, and with this new ownership, we would specialize in providing services to fans worldwide. This is intended to increase revenues and enhance our market presence. With me and my partners on the top, players like Mbappe & Haaland wouldn’t be just a dream.

“The idea is to progressively strengthen an already strong squad and compete for both the Scudetto and the Champions League every year.”

THE OFFER TO INTER

“I believe I understand the Zhang family’s desires, and our proposal is not far from theirs. Our objective is to transform Inter into the one of the greatest teams in the world, but speculating on the current value of the club is not appropriate. It’s not an image-building exercise, but rather a desire to establish a sustainable model to make Inter the most significant team globally.”

Inter is currently leading the Serie A table and is in a strong position to pass the Champions League group stage with a positive result against Salzburg tomorrow.
