Nicolo Zaniolo, who joined Galatasaray during the winter transfer window, has spoken about his future plans.
Despite interest from top Italian clubs, he stated that he intends to stay in Turkey to win the Turkish League and play in the Champions League with Galatasaray.
He said, “I didn’t come here with the intention of waiting for an offer and leaving at the end of the season.”
Zaniolo scored his first goal for Galatasaray in the first match of his season against Kasimpasa, scoring the winner after being subbed on in the beginning of the second half.
Galatasaray has a strong campaign so far and is the clear favorite to win the Turkish Super Lig.
The team is composed of former Serie A players like Mauro Icardi, Dries Mertens, Lucas Torreira, Sergio Oliveira, Fernando Muslera, as well as players like Juan Mata and Bafetimi Gomis.
