Woman known as ‘Dragon girl’ undergoes another risky tattoo procedure

Amber Luke, popularly referred to as the ‘Dragon Girl’, has recently taken a significant step in her beauty journey by undergoing her second eyeball tattoo procedure.

At 29, this Australian body modification enthusiast ventured to Sรฃo Paulo, Brazil, on May 18th to have her eyeballs inked again, this time aiming for blue and black sclera. The procedure was performed by the renowned artist Gattoo Moreno.

Having nearly 98% of her body covered in tattoos, Amber is no stranger to body art. However, her first eyeball tattooing experience led to temporary blindness, a risk she bravely faced again with her recent procedure. This time around, she took additional precautions by consulting with optometrists and choosing vegan ink to minimize health risks.

Amber describes the latest procedure as painless, a stark contrast to her initial experience which was excruciating. She attributes this improvement to the expertise of her body modification artist, Gattoo Moreno, who she believes played a crucial role in guiding her through this challenging yet fulfilling journey.

Reflecting on her transformation, Amber expressed a deep sense of accomplishment, stating, “For me, it was about taking back whatโ€™s mine and was supposed to be mine in the first place.” After seven years of various body modifications, she feels she has finally achieved the appearance she has always desired.
