What began as a romantic moment on the Coldplay kiss cam turned into an internet spectacle and the fallout has been swift.
Megan Kerrigan Byron, wife of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, deleted her Facebook account after a viral video showed her husband in a cozy moment with another woman at a Coldplay concert in Boston. The other woman? Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer.
The footage, shared widely on TikTok, shows the duo swaying together at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday night. As Coldplay frontman Chris Martin scanned the crowd with the kiss cam, the two appeared on screen with their arms wrapped around each other.

“Look at these two,” Martin said, before Kristin turned away from the camera and Andy visibly ducked out of sight. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Martin added, prompting gasps and cheers from the crowd.
She Deleted Her Name, Then Her Page — All Within Hours
Before the dust had even settled from the viral clip, Megan Kerrigan Byron made her move. First, she quietly dropped “Byron” from her Facebook profile. Then, by Thursday morning, her entire account was gone.
Gone were the family photos, public posts, and her digital connection to the man at the center of the scandal.

The swift deletion followed a wave of comments on her page after footage showed her husband, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, getting cozy with Cabot during the concert.
Some called the moment “humiliating.” Others called it “proof.” But Megan didn’t offer a response. She just logged off.
Office Romance or Office Scandal?
The alleged couple works together at Astronomer, an AI and data company valued at $1.2 billion. Andy Byron became CEO in July 2023, and Cabot was hired in November 2024 as Chief People Officer.
A press release at the time praised Cabot’s “exceptional leadership” and 20 years of HR experience. That post has since been quietly deleted.
Now, the internet is asking tough questions.
“If [Cabot] is the Chief People Officer, that means she’s basically head of HR,” one user wrote on X. “So does she run the meeting for this workplace misconduct case??”
Another added, “Feel so bad for his wife and at the same time so happy they were humiliated like that in front of thousands of people.”
Corporate Fallout
In the days after the video went viral, Andy Byron resigned as CEO of Astronomer. The company confirmed his departure and named co-founder Pete DeJoy as interim chief executive.
Both Byron and Kristin Cabot were reportedly placed on leave during an internal investigation. While Byron has exited, Cabot’s current status remains unclear.
Astronomer has not addressed the HR implications directly, but the leadership shake-up has only intensified public scrutiny.
