Who is better Mbappe or Rafa Leao? Seedorf and Evra diss the Milan star: ‘Are we serious, or joking?’

Clarence Seedorf and Patrice Evra found it challenging to compare Rafa Leao and Mbappe after Milan’s Champions League loss to PSG, highlighting why Mbappe is in a league of his own.

The Rossoneri suffered a disappointing 3-0 loss in Paris, with goals from Mbappe, Randal Kolo Muani, and Lee Kang-in, leaving our ‘Rossoneri‘ at the bottom of Group F after three games.

There were comparisons between Milan’s Leao and PSG’s Mbappe, but it became clear that Mbappe had a far more significant impact and praises, resulting in criticism of the Milan’s ace.

Speaking to Amazon Prime, Seedorf addressed the topic like this: He stated, “There is no comparison with Mbappe at the moment. The consistency with which the Frenchman has been performing for years is evident to all. Leao has shown promise, but his effectiveness in certain situations lacks threat.”

Evra joined the discussion and emphasized the impossibility of comparing the two. He said, “It’s impossible to compare Leao and Mbappe. On one side, there’s a killer, and on the other, there’s a player who is good but enjoys himself. Enjoyment alone is not enough to win. But, as I mentioned, I don’t want to criticize a player like Leao because people take football seriously.”

Seedorf then highlighted the areas in which Leao needs to improve to reach Mbappe’s level. He said, “This player can and must do much more; he can decide matches alone. He needs to enhance his off-the-ball movements. He has taken on significant responsibility, and criticism will come his way, but it’s justified because he also knows he can do more.”
