“The divorce was the most earth-shattering, bizarre thing I could have ever imagined,” said Palin, now 58. “It kind of remains so.”
Palin first revealed the surprising way she learned of Todd’s intentions to file for divorce during a 2019 interview. She discovered his plans through an email from his attorney, a revelation that left her stunned. The couple, who were married for over 30 years, share five children together.

Now, Palin has found a new chapter in her life, entering a relationship with retired New York Rangers player Ron Duguay, embracing both personal growth and new beginnings.

In her interview with The New York Post, Sarah Palin opened up about her deepening connection with Ron Duguay. “Ron is the first person that I’ve ever even talked to about a lot of this personal stuff,” she said. “It’s been helpful and refreshing to have Ron to talk to—not just about politics, because he’s got more common sense in his little finger than the collective in DC—but just about life.”
