The news revealed by Teleradiostereo and confirmed by RAI Sport: Mourinho will officially open up to a renewal and will wait for the Friedkins, who have not contacted the coach so far.
According to the newest report by Rai Sport and later again confirmed by ‘Calciomercato‘ José Mourinho is ready for renewal. In fact, he is about to announce it publicly in an interview that is expected to air next week.
This is the ‘bomb’ launched this morning by Teleradiostereo. According to the broadcaster, the Portuguese coach would like to stay in ‘Giallorosso’ and will declare his availability to negotiate the his contract which is expiring in June 2024. An official announcement from the Portuguese is expected after the rumors in recent weeks.
According to Rai, The Friedkins have not contacted Mourinho so far, probably postponing the decision to early 2024. There are some Arab clubs interested in the Special One, but the coach’s intention at this point is still to stay in the capital. Now it remains to be seen if the club shares the same intention.
