Tiffany Trump is officially a mom!
The 31-year-old daughter of President Donald Trump and Marla Maples shared the exciting news on Thursday, May 15, announcing the birth of her first child with husband Michael Boulos.
Taking to both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), Tiffany posted a heartwarming black-and-white photo showing her gently holding her newborn son’s tiny foot. Alongside the adorable shot, she revealed his name and date of birth.
“Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos,” she wrote.
“We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives! 5.15.2025.”
Proud dad Michael reshared the post on his Instagram Stories, as congratulations flooded in from friends, family, and fans around the world.
The baby’s name spars a debate online, why first Trump and not Boulos
Shortly after the announcement, social media lit up not just with congratulations but also with questions about the baby’s full name—Alexander Trump Boulos. While many loved the name, calling it “beautiful” and “strong,” others couldn’t help but wonder why “Trump” was placed before “Boulos.”
One user even asked bluntly, “Why Trump first, and not Boulos?”
Some believe the order is a deliberate nod to the powerful Trump legacy, ensuring the family name remains front and center.
Others suggest it’s simply a personal choice by Tiffany and Michael to honor both families in a way that felt meaningful to them. Regardless of the reason, the name has certainly become a talking point as the couple begins this new chapter.
A Special Addition to the Trump Family
Tiffany’s road to motherhood was first revealed last October when Donald Trump let the secret slip during a speech at the Detroit Economic Club.
Shouting out Michael’s father in the audience, Trump casually added:
“She’s an exceptional young woman. And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”
Though Tiffany remained quiet initially, her team later confirmed the happy news, and by December 2024, she embraced her pregnancy with a sweet Instagram post captioned, “Before the baby bump,” alongside nostalgic throwback photos.
A Love Story Born in Greece
Tiffany and Michael’s love story began back in July 2018, when the two met at Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club in Mykonos, Greece. Their romance blossomed quickly, and by January 2019, Tiffany made it Instagram official, posting a photo of them together at the White House decked out in Christmas décor.
Two years later, the couple announced their engagement with sentimental posts — Tiffany celebrating the milestone at the White House, and Michael calling Tiffany “the love of my life.” (though his original post appears to have been deleted).
The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Mar-a-Lago in November 2022, surrounded by friends, family, and the signature Trump flair.
Michael Boulos hails from a wealthy Lebanese family with deep business ties to Nigeria, through companies like SCOA Nigeria and Boulos Enterprises. Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Michael’s background made their union a true blend of cultures and traditions.
A New Chapter Begins
Now, with little Alexander Trump Boulos officially part of the family, Tiffany and Michael are stepping into an exciting new chapter of their lives — and fans can’t wait to see more glimpses of the newest Trump generation.
Congratulations to Tiffany and Michael on their beautiful new addition!
