The results of President Trump’s annual physical examination are released by the White House

Donald Trump has been given a clean bill of health by the White House following his annual physical exam, but the public isnโ€™t convinced the numbers add up.

According to a report released after his evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, the former president is in โ€œexcellent physical and cognitive health.โ€ Still, his reported weight and overall fitness have sparked a wave of online skepticism.

The medical evaluation included a full review of President Trumpโ€™s cardiac, neurological, pulmonary, and general physical health. His doctor reported that everything was functioning well, with no signs of abnormality.

Perhaps most notably, the report confirmed that President Trump achieved a perfect score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessmentโ€”a screening tool used to detect early signs of cognitive decline.

His physician also stated there were no indications of depression or anxiety, and that Trump showed no mental health concerns at this time.

The report also addressed a visible scar on Trumpโ€™s right ear, the result of a gunshot wound sustained during an assassination attempt in July 2024. Beyond the scar, no other issues were found in his head, ears, nose, or throat. His hearing was also determined to be within normal limits.

Other long-term conditions were documented, including high cholesterol, rosacea, and a past COVID-19 infection.

Doctors noted a benign colon polyp but confirmed it does not require treatment. Trump is currently prescribed cholesterol-lowering medication, a low-dose aspirin to support heart health, and a topical cream to manage a skin condition.

President Trump’s physical health & BMI

Physically, president Trump was listed at 6 feet 2.5 inches tall and weighing 224 pounds. According to the report, his joints and muscles exhibit a full range of motion.

While Trump is known for a fast food-heavy diet and a lack of traditional exercise, the report credited his health in part to regular rounds of golfโ€”humorously mentioning his โ€œfrequent victoriesโ€ on the course.

Despite the glowing report, social media lit up with disbelief. Many users questioned the accuracy of the listed height and weight.

โ€œSomethingโ€™s wrongโ€”his height is overestimated or his weight underestimated,โ€ one user wrote.

โ€œThe numbers make his BMI about 28, but he looks more like 32.โ€ Others chimed in with personal comparisons, saying there was โ€œno wayโ€ he weighs only 224 pounds, with several pointing out their own measurements and how they didnโ€™t match up to Trumpโ€™s appearance.

Praising the medical staff and facility at Walter Reed, Trump said he was grateful for their care and professionalism. When asked if any lifestyle changes had been suggested, he admitted there were a few but declined to go into detail.

He reiterated that he has โ€œa good heart and a very good soul,โ€ and made sure to highlight his perfect score on the cognitive test, proudly stating that he answered every question correctly.

While the official report paints a picture of a healthy and mentally sharp 78-year-old, the online response suggests many remain unconvinced.
