President-elect Donald Trump will move back to the White House on Inauguration Day, Jan 20
President-elect Donald Trump unveiled a bold initiative to rejuvenate Hollywood, declaring his plans to make the iconic industry “stronger than ever before.”
In a statement shared on Truth Social, Trump announced that stars Mel Gibson, Sylvester Stallone, and Jon Voight would serve as “Special Ambassadors” in this effort. He emphasized the importance of restoring Hollywoodโs former glory, claiming the industry had faced significant setbacks over the past four years, with much of its business shifting overseas.
โThey will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACKโBIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!โ
The president-elect concluded with a vision of returning to Hollywoodโs Golden Age. โIt will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood,โ he added.
The announcement underscores Trump’s focus on reinvigorating American industries as he prepares to take office. With this high-profile trio spearheading the Hollywood revival, the entertainment world is poised for a potential transformation.
Stallone, Gibson, and Voight, who have publicly expressed their support for Donald Trump, recently visited the president-elect at his Mar-a-Lago home.
The announcement of their roles as โSpecial Ambassadorsโ comes just days before Trumpโs Inauguration Day on January 20, which will feature performances from high-profile entertainers such as Carrie Underwood, Kid Rock and country star Jason Aldean.
