The agent of the Iranian player goes on the attack against the Rossoneri and emphasizes,”Milan are seeking justifications for not signing him.”
The arrival of Mehdi Taremi at Milan seemed like a done deal after the Rossoneri had reached an agreement with Porto. However, it all ended up to nothing.
The cause? Just when Porto had given the green light for the move, there seemed to be a gap between Milan’s salary offer and the player’s demands, which had reshuffled the cards on the table after reaching a prior agreement of โฌ1.5m per season.
But Pedro Pinho, Taremi’s agent, tells a different version of events and criticizes Milan in an interview with Record:
“They never contacted me; Mehdi had warned them that they were talking to the wrong agent, and they continued like that for two months.”
“The Milan offer of a 1.5 million salary for Taremi was not in line with the player’s value,” emphasized the agent, who, in the “second” negotiation phase, had asked for 5 million for the Porto striker.
And to those who accuse him of raising the request for commissions (Agent’s fees), Pinho reiterated: “We never discussed commissions. Milan should provide evidence because there’s a lot of talk about it in Italy, and it’s a lie.”
During the exclusive interview with Record, the Iranian player’s agent also pointed out: “After the agreement between the clubs, Milan contacted the player, who explained who represents him. I don’t know why they kept talking to the wrong agents; I can’t explain it.”
