Matias Soulé‘s debut with the Frosinone jersey was an emotional one. Launched by Eusebio Di Francesco as a starter in the 0-0 draw against Udinese, the Argentine player who arrived from Juventus hit the post early in the game and then burst into tears during the post-match interview.

It happened when he answered a question about his jersey number, 18: “I chose it because of my grandmother; it was her number,” explained the 20-year-old Argentine playmaker who reently lost her grandmother to Dazn’s microphones. He couldn’t hold back his tears and left the interview.

However, before that, he did share his thoughts on the match and his initial feelings as a Frosinone player: “I feel really good – he had said -, I’m gradually getting into the rhythm. I’m very happy to play. It was a difficult and intense game, but we had our chances. It’s a very important point; we need to keep going.
