Sensational, Bonucci on the attack: “Juventus humiliated me, Twice gone because of Allegri”

The former Juventus captain reveals the behind-the-scenes details of his departure in an exclusive interview with Mediaset: “I had the right to train with the first team; I felt humiliated.”

A farewell filled rage and endless poison: ‘I have read and heard untrue things said by Juventus and the coach (Allegri). It is not true that in October and February, they communicated the intention to end the relationship at the end of the season. On the contrary, at the end of May, I had expressed my willingness to be the fifth/sixth choice in defense, to play the nurturing role,’ says Leonardo Bonucci from Berlin in an exclusive interview given to Mediaset.

THE HUMILIATION

“I sensed something on July 13th when Giuntoli and Manna (Juventus directors) came to my house and informed me that I would no longer be part of Juventus’ squad, and that my presence on the field would only prevent the team’s growth.”

This was the humiliation I endured after more than 500 matches in black and white. I appreciated the solidarity of many players, even current ones at Juventus and from other clubs. They all expressed their support about the disrespectful behavior I recieved from the club.”

ALLEGRI

Bonucci doesn’t want to give names, but he launches precise attacks directed at those who wanted to force him out: “I will continue to fight because the people who were supposed to let me end my career at Juventus respectfully and honorably did not do so.”

“It’s the second time I’ve been forced to leave Juventus because of one individual…” When the interviewer asked him who he’s referring to, Bonucci responded: “It’s clear to everyone that I never had the relationship I would have wanted with the coach.”

This complete breakdown led to the decision to pursue legal action: “I had the right to train with the team regardless of the technical choice; it was not granted to me. I felt humiliated.” It’s a matter of principle, therefore, not related to money: If I were to win, I will donate everything to charity.”
