Rumors of Divorce Swirl as Harry Stays in Canada… Meghan Markle Releases an Emotional Statement

The Duchess of Sussex has been seen with her husband only once since the summer. Now, she has shared a solo public statement about last week’s events.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are constantly in the spotlight and a frequent subject of gossip. For months, the same rumor has persisted—that their marriage is not in great shape.

Since August, when they visited Colombia together, the couple has had more solo public appearances than joint ones. In fact, they’ve only been seen together in one video address. However, PR experts believe there’s no talk of a divorce. Instead, they suggest the Sussexes are trying to shed the negative, “toxic” image associated with them as a couple. Meghan has now made another solo appearance without her husband.

Last week, she attended an event ahead of Thanksgiving, which is being celebrated in the United States on November 28 this year.

Without Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, through her Archewell Foundation and the organization Mina’s List, hosted a dinner for Afghan refugee women as part of The Welcome Project.

Meghan later shared an official statement on her foundation’s website.
“The initiative spent the past year building a community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who relocated to America from Afghanistan,” the Duchess said. “That evening, we shared a meal that encouraged open conversations focused on gratitude and resilience.”

The former actress expressed deep respect for the participants who shared their personal stories and experiences. She also revealed that the women attending the dinner received dishware for the upcoming holiday season.

Meghan emphasized her ongoing commitment to empowering women and highlighting the importance of community and support during challenging times.

This news comes after her husband, Prince Harry, participated in a series of promotional activities for the upcoming Invictus Games in Vancouver, which he founded. Meanwhile, the Duchess was recently spotted enjoying an outing with friends in California.
