The Rossoneri are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Juan Miranda, the Spanish full-back from Real Betis, who grew up in the Barcelona youth academy.
Everything is expected to be finalized in the next few hours, Juan Miranda will be AC Milan player in a deal which will see him move to ‘San Siro’ in a free transfer (for the summer 2024). Regardless, Milan will make an attempt with Betis to buy the player immediately already in January.
AC Milan is beginning to make some real moves in the transfer market. With the arrival of the young Serbian attacker Matija Popovic in January now confirmed, the search for Theo Hernandez‘s backup has reached the end. Milan has chosen Juan Miranda, a Real Betis left-back born in 2000.
Miranda, who grew up in the Andalusian and Barcelona youth academies, making his debut in the Copa del Rey and the Champions League with Barcelona, has been with Betis since the 2020/2021 season. His contract will expire in 2024, and the Rossoneri have almost reached an agreement with the player for a free transfer next summer.
A meeting in the next few hours with the player’s entourage should lead to the finalization of the last details and the agreement. Milan’s management would then seek a meeting with his club to bring forward the possibility of a purchase in the winter transfer window.
MEANWHILE MILAN SECURES POPOVIC
Coming to Milanello next month is certainly Matija Popovic, a Serbian forward born in 2006 from Partizan Belgrade. Unrestricted from December, he can join the Rossoneri once he turns 18, namely from January 8th. Popovic will sign a contract until 2028 and will immediately join the first team.
An offensive utility player who can play as a left winger, attacking midfielder, or center-forward thanks to his technique and a lanky physique of 195 centimeters, he had also attracted attention from Real Madrid, Juventus, and Barcelona.”
