Tijjani Reijnders expressed his satisfaction after the Netherlands’ victory over Greece, which brings his national team closer to qualifying for Euro 2024. In an interview with Sportmediaset, he also discussed his experience with Milan:
“I felt comfortable from the beginning of this adventure; there was a great connection with the club and the fans. I’m happy to be a Rossonero. We have a team with many qualities, and we aim to win the Scudetto.”
The midfielder recalled the heavy loss in the derby: “Losing a match like that was tough, but Inter was a formidable opponent. Nonetheless, we responded well on the field, and we are currently leading in the league.”
Can Milan also set their sights on the Champions League? “We are a strong team, and we can pursue both objectives, so yes we can win the both.” Lastly, regarding the fixture schedule: “We have challenging matches ahead, and now we must focus on Juventus.”
