President Donald Trump was all business in the Middle East, until one phone call changed everything.
The 78-year-old commander-in-chief was in Abu Dhabi sealing high-stakes investment deals when he got the call: his youngest daughter, Tiffany Trump, had just given birth to her first child.
And just like that, the dealmaker-in-chief turned into a soft-hearted grandpa.
“I should probably have left yesterday, but I didn’t want to disappoint you,” Trump quipped to UAE Crown Prince Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed. “Your father would have been extremely upset.” Then, with a pause and a smile, he added: “I’m going to go home and see that little baby.”
The 11th Trump Grandchild Has Arrived — And He’s Already Making Headlines
Tiffany, 31, welcomed a baby boy on Thursday, May 15, with her husband, billionaire heir Michael Boulos, 27. The couple named him Alexander Trump Boulos, adding yet another heir to the ever-expanding Trump family dynasty.
The new mom shared the joyful news with a black-and-white photo of the newborn’s tiny foot, sending Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) into overdrive.
“Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos,” Tiffany captioned the post. “We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives! 5.15.2025.”
Michael quickly reposted the announcement to his Instagram Stories, sealing the couple’s first moments as parents with a digital bow.
President Trump’s Grandpa Glow Hits Hard
While standing before cameras in the UAE, President Trump looked visibly moved as he spoke about the arrival of baby Alexander, his 11th grandchild.
“She’s doing great, the baby’s great,” he said with uncharacteristic tenderness.
Even in the middle of a high-stakes diplomatic tour, the president’s focus had clearly shifted homeward. Hours later, Trump boarded Air Force One to return to Washington, telling reporters with a smile:
“I’m going to go home and see that little baby.”
From Mykonos to Mar-a-Lago to Mommyhood
Tiffany and Michael’s love story has always had a glamorous edge. The two first met in 2018 at Lindsay Lohan’s beach club in Mykonos — a seriously A-list meet-cute.
By 2021, they were engaged, and in November 2022, the couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Mar-a-Lago, surrounded by chandeliers, secret service, and enough designer gowns to outfit a royal wedding.
They kept the pregnancy mostly private, until President Trump himself let it slip during a Detroit speech in October 2024.
Pointing to Michael’s father in the crowd, Trump declared:
“He happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy… and she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”
Oops.
The clip went viral instantly. Tiffany stayed quiet at first, but later confirmed the news with a cozy holiday post captioned “Before the baby bump.”
A Softer Side of President Trump
Before boarding Air Force One to return to Washington, President Trump made it clear where his heart was.
“I’m going to go home and see that little baby,” he repeated to reporters — a rare moment of vulnerability from the famously fiery leader.
With baby Alexander now the latest addition to America’s most-watched political family, all eyes are on the next generation of Trumps.
And for a man known for global summits, heated rallies, and courtroom showdowns, this time, President Trump is going viral for something totally different: being grandpa of the year.
