It wasn’t just the movie premiere turning heads Thursday night. Pierce Brosnan hit the red carpet with his son Dylan and the father-son moment quickly became the talk of the town.
Because while Pierce may be James Bond forever in our hearts, there’s one thing even 007 can’t compete with: his son’s height.
A family affair with a stylish twist
The 72-year-old Golden Globe nominee was every bit the suave leading man at the New York City screening of his new film, The Thursday Murder Club. Dressed in a cream-colored suit jacket with a black polka-dot tie, matching shirt, black pocket square, slacks, and dress shoes, Pierce Brosnan brought his signature elegance, and a proud dad smile.
By his side? 28-year-old Dylan Brosnan, who quite literally stood out.
The towering filmmaker, who graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in May 2020, posed confidently in a loose-fitting gray suit, striped tie, and sleek black dress shoes. His shoulder-length brown hair was swept back into a wispy, retro-inspired style.
The duo kept it classic: one hand in a pocket, the other wrapped around each other as photographers captured the heartfelt moment.
Dylan’s rising star — and a father’s pride
Dylan isn’t just tall, he’s talented, too.
He and younger brother Paris Brosnan, 24, recently joined their dad on-screen in The Unholy Trinity, marking both sons’ big-screen debut.
“To be able to share that with them is a gift of time and memory,” Pierce told People, calling the experience “beautiful.”
The Brosnans have long kept family at the center, even during Pierce’s action-packed Bond years. “We always stayed together tight as a family unit,” he shared. And now, he says, “I would jump into the trenches any day of the week with them.”
A bond that runs deep
Pierce shares Dylan and Paris with wife Keely Shaye Smith, and the red carpet outing marked another milestone in the family’s ever-growing Hollywood chapter.
The actor also has three children from his first marriage to Cassandra Harris, who passed away in 1991. Their daughter Charlotte died in 2013, also from ovarian cancer — a loss Pierce has spoken about with moving honesty over the years.
But on Thursday night, it was all about new memories, shared spotlight, and the unmistakable love between a father and his son.
And while Pierce Brosnan may always be remembered for playing Bond, these days, it’s his role as Dad that’s stealing the show, even if he has to look up to see it.
