The ‘Nerazzurri‘ club has announced, through an official statement, the collaboration with the Middle Eastern airline.
Inter has announced, through an official statement, a new sponsorship agreement with Qatar Airways:
“FC Internazionale Milano is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Qatar Airways, which becomes the Official Global Airline Partner of the Club.”
The Middle Eastern airline will make its debut tonight in the match at San Siro against Frosinone: “The stadium towers will be illuminated with the colors of Qatar Airways, and a representation of the Cabin Crew will welcome both players and guests to the stadium.
Hospitality suites will also be dedicated to the new partner, with setups and images related to the airline. Fans will also witness a unique 3D videomapping show on the field before the match.”
How much money will Inter make in with Qatar Airways?
According to Calcio e Finanza, the Nerazzurri club is expected to earn almost one and a half million euros for the remainder of the current season. In addition to the amount for the 2023/2024 season, the partnership holds promising prospects for the jersey sponsor (a space that will be unveiled only from the next season).
Within the agreement, there is reportedly a clause that can be activated by January 2024: Qatar Airways can become a shirt sponsor starting from the 2024/2025 season for a figure close to €20 million per season. Therefore, Paramount+ will disappear from the Inter jersey.
