Steven Zhang has officially renewed Inter’s CEO Giuseppe Marotta’s contract, until 2027. The news was announced during today’s board of directors meeting held at the club’s headquarters, with the Nerazzurri’s number 1 connected via video conference from China.

The decision was made following the excellent sporting results achieved by the club in recent years, confirming the ownership’s vision and the continuity of the winning project. Inter will also renew the contracts of the rest of the sporting directors like Piero Ausilio and his deputy Dario Baccin. All that remains is the ratification and the signatures, but Zhang’s decision encompasses the entire management.

GROWING REVENUE

During the board meeting, the first quarterly report of the 2023-24 season (July-September) was approved, and the results obtained are very positive: The club revenues stood at approximately โ‚ฌ166 million, an increase of about โ‚ฌ60 million (+36%) compared to the same period in the 2022-23 season.

The increase in revenue is primarily attributed to the recorded capital gains (Onana and Brozovic), as well as income from television rights, match-day, and “licensing & retail and the great Champions League campaign.
