This is forcing both Inter and Milan to proceed swiftly with the construction of a new facility in Rozzano.
In this context, Inter, who are strongly committed to the project, and the club has now announced that in the coming months, they will start gathering opinions from fans, with today’s focus on a survey about transportation issues.
Inter’s statement outlines the current vision for the new stadium: designed by the Populous studio, will have 70,000 seats, be surrounded by nature, and equipped with dining areas, shops, and services. Crucial connections to the center of Milan are emphasized, as outside the facility, a sports complex and fan welcoming areas will be created.
“The design process, officially initiated with the exclusive rights acquisition of the Infrafin property, is progressing through the work of the Populous architecture studio and frequent meetings of the Club’s Top Management with the involved institutions and stakeholders,” reads the official statement.
