This penalty comes after the 1-1 draw against Genoa, ‘for having contested the referee’s decisions, at the end of the match, in the match officials’ locker room, initially in a calm tone, and subsequently, disrespectfully. The coach was seen yelling and hitting out at VAR while accusing the referees of amateur refereeing. At the end the situation became so tense, so much so that the match director invited him to leave the locker room. Allegri, will however lead his team regularly on Sunday against Frosinone away.
