OFFICIAL: Allegri fined. He was seen ‘furious’ in the referees’ locker room after the draw with Genoa.

Among the disciplinary measures of the day, there is a fine for the Juventus coach for having contested the referee’s decisions disrespectfully. Five other players received suspensions:

Massimiliano Allegri has been fined ten thousand euros. This penalty comes after the 1-1 draw against Genoa, ‘for having contested the referee’s decisions, at the end of the match, in the match officials’ locker room, initially in a calm tone, and subsequently, disrespectfully. The coach was seen yelling and hitting out at VAR while accusing the referees of amateur refereeing. At the end the situation became so tense, so much so that the match director invited him to leave the locker room. Allegri, will however lead his team regularly on Sunday against Frosinone away.

PLAYERS SUSPENDED

There have been 5 suspended players in Serie A. Lazzari from Lazio receives a two-match ban and a 5,000 euro fine, ‘for contesting the referee’s decisions, blatantly directing a disrespectful expression towards the referee. One match suspension for Payero (Udinese), Bellanova (Torino), Maggiore (Salernitana), and Okoli (Frosinone).
