The Olympic basketball tournament is set to start on July 27th, and the United States is bringing back their superstars after a disappointing performance at the World Cup in Manila, where they failed to reach the podium.
Although the NBA season is still ongoing and Team USA’s training camp is scheduled for later, some players have already begun their preparations.
LeBron James, who has won two gold medals and a bronze at the Olympics, is among them. He recently shared photos of his workouts on social media, showing him already dressed in the national team’s shorts with a clearly visible stars and stripes flag.
The basketball tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics will begin on July 27th and conclude on August 11th. The United States men’s team will compete in Group C and face Serbia, South Sudan, and the winner of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico, which includes teams like Bahrain, Côte d’Ivoire, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
The group phase games will take place at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille, with the knockout phase being held at the Bercy Arena in Paris
