Mike Wolfe of American Pickers Shares unexpected update about his Nashville store

American Pickers star Mike Wolfe opened up about the tragic loss of his co-star, Frank Fritz, as well as new beginnings for the hit show.

Mike Wolfe, the beloved star of American Pickers, recently opened up about a year filled with both heartbreak and hope, sharing his reflections on social media.

On New Yearโ€™s Eve, Wolfe, now 60, posted a candid photo of himself relaxing on a well-loved couch, his expression radiating warmth and optimism. In the caption, he offered a glimpse into the emotional journey he experienced throughout 2024.

โ€œI chose this photo to post because this is where Iโ€™m at right now in my lifeโ€”happy, content, and excited about the future,โ€ Wolfe began. His heartfelt words revealed a year of both challenges and cherished moments.

โ€œThis past year has brought loss and some heartache, but it also has beautiful moments with my daughter and family,โ€ he continued. โ€œThe projects that I have thrown myself into have inspired me to do more.โ€

The year was particularly poignant for Wolfe due to the tragic passing of his longtime co-host and closest friend, Frank Fritz, who succumbed in September after a battle with health complications following a stroke.

Despite past tensions in their friendship, Mike Wolfe shared a deeply personal moment about the passing of his longtime co-host and friend, Frank Fritz. โ€œI was holding his hand and rubbing his chest when he took his last breath,โ€ Wolfe revealed last month.

Reflecting on his recent milestone birthday, turning 60 he said: โ€œTurning 60 this year has centered me and brought me to a place in my mind that I feel at peace,โ€ Wolfe shared. โ€œI love that my circle is getting much smaller so I can be present more with the ones I love.โ€
