The casket of the 39th President departed the U.S. Capitol and made its way to the Washington National Cathedral, where the state funeral service commenced at 10 a.m.
All five living U.S. presidents were present at the cathedral to honor the late leader. President Joe Biden, 82, delivered a heartfelt eulogy during the service. The gathering also included current and former vice presidents, such as JD Vance, Kamala Harris, Al Gore, and Mike Pence.
