The Nerazzurri CEO spoke from the DLA Piper Sport Forum stage: “We are strong and aiming for the Scudetto, but Juventus is the favorite.”
From the stage of the DLA Piper Sport Forum, Inter’s CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, reassures the fans that Zhang will stay and looked ahead to the Scudetto challenge against Juventus. Then the CEO spoke about the Second Star, Lautaro and the new stadium“
THE ZHANG FAMILY
“I must say that our fans can rest assured; the Zhang family cares about the fate of the club, respecting its history and supporters. They have demonstrated significant investments, and it’s not fair to expect them to inject funds every year. Sustainability can also be achieved with a bold and creative management. The Zhang family will never abandon Inter in difficult times, and we are confident about that. We have utmost respect for the Zhang family, and continuity is absolutely guaranteed.”
JUVENTUS AND ALLEGRI
For Marotta, it’s not yet a Scudetto challenge, but the battle with Juventus will last throughout the season: “In the long term, Juventus is the favorite because they are not participating in European competitions and this allows them to train and plan better. But Allegri says Inter is the favorite favored? Allegri is a a communication expert, but I responded appropriately with the utmost respect.”
SECOND STAR AS THE OBJECTIVE
Second star the objective – “The team is strong, the coach is strong, the fans are exceptional, and the ownership is solidโฆ All these components are in place to say that we must compete to achieve important results. We did it last year, and we aim to do it again this year. One of the objectives, let’s not hide it, is the second star.“
Lautaro’s renewal?
“It’s not a problem because Lautaro has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay with us for a long time. He is a player we rely on for the present and the future, so we are confident. When there is a mutual willingness to continue the relationship, everything becomes easier.”
San Siro
“In the concept of innovation, there is the idea of making stadiums functional to today’s needs, also as a form of business. This is one of the tools to increase profitability today. San Siro unfortunately is outdated and no longer suitable for modern needs. It cannot be hidden that clubs have tried to enhance this facility, but a solution was not found.”
