The Inter CEO spoke in the pre-match of Inter vs. Real Sociedad.
The renewal of Lautaro Martinez is a matter of days. Less than a month. Inter’s CEO, Beppe Marotta, explained this before the Champions League match against Real Sociedad in interviews with both Mediaset and Sky.
“The fact that Lautaro said, (I would sign the renewal tomorrow) is truly a beautiful declaration of love. He is a true captain who wants to continue his experience with us. These are important premises for us reaching an extension. I can say that it will be an easy renewal and will respect the balance of the team. Whether it comes at the end of the year or after is not a problem. In about a month? Yes, even sooner, I hope.”

Marotta then spoke about the former Lazio coach and the French forward: ‘Inzaghi is giving us great satisfaction with the results he is achieving: he is skilled and young. He can give us even more important successes.’
Finally, on Thuram: ‘It was all Piero Ausilio‘s idea, he thought of Thuram as a striker and we supported him. Now we are all happy with what he is doing. He has great potential and can play an even more important role than he is currently doing.'”
