Interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport, former Inter player Jurgen Klinsmann spoke about the Nerazzurri’s season: “We are stil early in the season, especially now, before a direct clash that can decide the Scudetto” (Hinting at the Juventus vs Inter derby on the 26th of November).
“But I like what I am seeing so far. I am looking at a team that is on the rise and complete. Inter’s defence is solid, and they can hit you on the wings, strike you in the middle: you get the feeling that every action they do, they can pose a threat.”
“I really hope we can get the second star this season, that would make me really happy. But don’t forget this team can go all the way again in the Champions League. Until just few years ago, against Manchester City, Real Madrid, or Bayern, they might have had few chances, but now they have everything to eliminate them. They have a squad that can be compared to any top club in the world in terms of depth and quality.”
