After a painful separation from his longtime wife Christine Baumgartner, it appears Kevin Costner might have found new love. Reports suggest that the Yellowstone star is now in a relationship with singer Jewel.
The pair were recently photographed together at Richard Branson’s Necker Island during a tennis fundraiser for the Inspiring Children Foundation.
Kevin Costner’s new love
TMZ reports that Costner and Jewel flew to the Caribbean together, spending over a week in each other’s company. This new romance comes on the heels of Costner’s challenging post-relationship court battle with Baumgartner.
Costner was reportedly caught off guard by his wife’s decision to file for divorce in May of this year, ending their 18-year marriage. Christine Baumgartner cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce papers.
A representative for Costner expressed the actor’s sadness, stating: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.
We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.” The couple shares three children: sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 12.

The divorce proceedings turned contentious, with Baumgartner being required to vacate the family home per their prenuptial agreement, and Costner being ordered to pay $63,209 per month in child support.
Despite the recent turmoil, there seems to be a brighter chapter unfolding for Costner. As TMZ notes, Costner and Jewel appeared very much in tune with each other during their Caribbean trip.
A source observed, “There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up.” Another source added that their attempt to be discreet didn’t go unnoticed.
Jewel even mentioned Costner on social media, sharing her experience at the Necker Island tennis fundraiser. She commented, “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest and play with my son! @kevincostnermodernwest was kind enough to mentor our kids this year.”
According to TMZ, Costner and Jewel returned from the Caribbean together. A source close to the situation mentioned that Jewel is selective about her partners, adding, “She wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill.”
