Kate Middleton makes her first social media post since her cancer diagnosis

The video was posted during what is the Mental Health Awareness Week in the United Kingdom.

Kate Middleton returned to social media alongside Prince William to share an update on a project she cares about.

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment after revealing her cancer diagnosis to the world in March, reported The Post.

The Princess Advocates for Mental Health

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Week, Kate and William highlighted the psychological struggles young farmers may face while sharing a video showcasing the work Middleton has been doing behind the scenes.

“This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we brought together the inspiring Sam Stables from We Are Farming Minds and the brilliant Farmer Will for a very special film,” the Prince and Princess wrote on X and Instagram.

“Spending a day together at Sam’s farm in Hereford, we discussed mental health in the farming community, how to find support, and the Duchy of Cornwall’s mental health strategy,” they explained.

While the mother of three does not appear in the video, she and Prince William contributed to its production.

It is believed that work on the farming project began before her diagnosis.

Kate’s Followers Appreciate Her Work

Followers flocked to the comments section to thank the princess for her work and her unwavering dedication to the project, given her current circumstances.

“We all know that Princess Kate is working behind the scenes as much as she can while receiving her cancer treatment. What a woman,” wrote one person.

Another commented, “Prince William and Princess Kate are always on the front lines to help others,” while a third added, “Amazing initiative! Thank you, Princess Catherine, for your care and foresight.”

The post comes two months after Middleton shared a pre-recorded video on March 22, where she revealed her health issues to the world.

The royalty said that doctors discovered her cancer during a planned abdominal surgery in January and mentioned that she is now in the early stages of a “preventive chemotherapy cycle.”

The Post revealed that Middleton and William “softened” the news when telling their youngest child, Prince Louis, but had a more “difficult” conversation with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

While the princess undergoes treatment, her parents, Michael, 74, and Carole Middleton, 69, have stepped in to support their grandchildren during this uncertain time.
