A man bursts into the emergency room late at night, clearly panicked. He runs up to the reception desk, breathing heavily and clutching his phone.
“Doctor! Doctor! You have to help me!” he shouts.
A nurse rushes over and tries to calm him down. “Sir, please relax. What’s going on?”
“My wife is pregnant,” the man says nervously, pacing back and forth. “Her contractions just started and they’re only two minutes apart!”
The nurse quickly grabs a phone and calls the doctor on duty. After a moment she hands the phone to the frantic man.
On the other end, the doctor asks calmly, “Alright sir, I need to ask you a couple of questions. Is this her first child?”
The man, clearly stressed, yells into the phone:
“No! This is her husband!”
