A man absolutely hated his wife’s cat and decided to get rid of him one day. He drove the cat 20 blocks away from home and left him in a park.
As he pulled into his driveway later, there was the cat—coming back home as if nothing had happened.
The next day, he drove the cat 40 blocks away and let him out again. But once again, when he arrived home, the cat was already there. No matter how far he drove him away, that cat always found its way home.
Finally, feeling defeated, he decided to take the cat dozens of miles away, winding through highways, bridges, and backroads until he was absolutely certain it would never return. He dropped the cat off and headed home.
Hours later, desperate, he called his wife and asked:
“Honey, is that cat there?”
She replied, “Yes… Why do you ask?”
He answered, “Put that son of a b on the phone—I’m lost and need directions!”
