A pregnant woman is about to give birth.
The doctor has her on the delivery table, legs up in the stirrups.
Suddenly, he sees the top of a baby’s head push through.
The baby pops its head out and asks the doctor,
“Are you my dad?”
Startled, the doctor replies,
“No, I’m your doctor!”
With that, the baby disappears back inside.
“Damn!” mutters the doctor.
A short while later, the head pushes through again.
The baby pops out and asks,
“Are you my dad?”
“No,” the doctor says, “I’m your doctor.”
Once again, the baby vanishes back inside.
The doctor turns to a nurse and says,
“Quick—get the father in here. We may have a situation!”
Moments later, the father rushes into the delivery room.
Right on cue, the baby’s head pops out again.
The baby looks at him and asks,
“Are you my dad?”
The father smiles proudly and says,
“Yes, I am!”
The baby reaches up, pokes him in the forehead with its tiny finger, and says:
“Well, how do you like that?”
