Just two weeks after stepping down from the presidency, Joe Biden has secured representation with the Los Angeles-based Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
The Hollywood agency, which also represents former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama, officially announced on Monday that it has signed Biden as a client.
Notably, this marks his second time working with CAA, as he was previously represented by the agency from 2017 to 2020.
Richard Lovett, co-chairman of CAA, expressed his admiration for Bidenโs career and dedication to public service.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Lovett described Biden as โone of Americaโs most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs.โ
He further emphasized Bidenโs long-standing commitment to unity, optimism, dignity, and progress, adding that the agency is โprofoundly honoredโ to collaborate with him once again.
During his initial partnership with Creative Artists Agency, Biden released his memoir, Promise Me, Dad, which chronicled his late son Beau Bidenโs battle with cancer.
The bookโs release was accompanied by a nationwide paid speaking tour, further solidifying his role as an influential public figure beyond politics.
CAAโs Expanding Roster of Political Figures
Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency has a history of working with high-profile political figures, particularly within the Democratic Party.
In addition to representing the Obamas and their production company, Higher Ground Productions, the agency also counts former West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin and former Texas Representative Beto OโRourke among its clients.
