Jesse Watters mocks Fox News co-host for her take on deportation of innocent man

Jesse Watters mocked his co-host Jessica Tarlov for criticizing the Trump administrationโ€™s deportation of potentially innocent individuals to El Salvador.

Fox News anchor Jesse Watters mocked co-host Jessica Tarlov for criticizing the Trump administrationโ€™s deportation of potentially innocent individuals to El Salvador, including a โ€œgay barber.โ€

Tarlov has raised concerns over the use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, which the administration is using to deport migrants it claims are part of the Tren de Aragua gang, labeled a terrorist group by Trump.

On a recent episode of The Five, Tarlov pointed to cases where non-gang members were mistakenly deported, such as 31-year-old makeup artist Andry Josรฉ Hernรกndez Romero. According to ACLU filings, he was imprisoned in El Salvador based solely on a tattooโ€”a crown with the word โ€œmom.โ€

Jesse Wattersโ€™ take

During a recent segment on The Five, Jesse Watters mocked co-host Jessica Tarlov over her continued criticism of the deportation of potentially innocent individuals to El Salvador.

โ€œYouโ€™ve been talking about this gay barber and El Salvador with some stupid tattoo for weeks. Weeks, Jessica. Itโ€™s just a gay barber,โ€ Watters said, responding to Tarlovโ€™s concerns about Andry Josรฉ Hernรกndez Romero, a deported makeup artist.

Tarlov had expressed distrust in the El Salvadorian governmentโ€™s handling of deportees, saying she feared they could be โ€œtorturingโ€ those they receive.

Co-host Greg Gutfeld added jokingly, โ€œHeโ€™s not into you!โ€ as Watters went on to acknowledge that Romero might be innocent and simply โ€œgot swept up in a deportation.โ€

Watters continued, โ€œA lot of people in this country, Jessica, get arrested for things that they didnโ€™t do, get falsely accused, falselyโ€”โ€ before Tarlov interrupted, stating, โ€œIโ€™m also against racial profiling.โ€

โ€œThat doesnโ€™t mean,โ€ Watters replied, โ€œyou just stop arresting people. That doesnโ€™t mean you stop arresting criminals because one guy was arrested who was innocent. It just means you try to do it better the next time.โ€
