It’s over! Taremi will stay at Porto, Milan now wants to bring someone else: Here are the 4 names

The negotiations between Porto and Milan for Taremi has fallen through, and he will remain in Portugal. Meanwhile, Colombo will be a loaned to Monza. Milan now wants someone else

Mehdi Taremi will not be a new Milan player. Porto has announced that the negotiation with the Rossoneri have now collapsed. An agreement could not be reached among all parties involved, so the Iranian player will remain in Portugal.

The issues that blocked Taremi’s move to Milan were the player’s salary (considered too low, with Milan offering only 1.5 million) and the agent’s commissions. Here’s the official statement from ‘Porto Canal’:

“The meeting that took place this Thursday between Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa and Mehdi Taremi has determined the Iranian striker’s stay at FC Porto for the 2023/24 season and the closing of negotiations with Milan for his transfer.”

POSSIBLE OPTIONS

Mason Burstow, a 2003-born player from Chelsea, is a possible option who could arrive on loan. He made two appearances in the Premier League already, totaling eight minutes.

Additionally, Milan has made an offer to Sevilla for Youssef En-Nesyri, for โ‚ฌ6m plus a 25 million euro buyout option. However, En-Nesyri doesn’t want a loan deal, and it’s unlikely Milan will make a โ‚ฌ25 million deal on the final day of the transfer window.

Milan is also interested in Pavlidis from AZ Alkmaar, with the Dutch club demanding โ‚ฌ15mfor the Greek born in ’98.

Currently, the asking prices are too high for Milan, but on Friday, the Rossoneri might present some new offers.

Another option on the table is Willian Josรฉ from Real Betis. Milan would consider him only if the Spanish club opens up to an expensive loan deal without an obligation to buy.
