The former Italian national team coach sets aside controversies and compliments the national team for qualifying for Euro 2024 on Instagram.
Roberto Mancini doesn’t forget “his” national team and congratulates Italy on qualifying for Euro 2024: “Well done, guys, congratulations,” posted the Saudi Arabia coach on Instagram, using the photo shared by the Italian Football Federation’s account.
Mancini had resigned as the head coach on August 13th, before the match against North Macedonia in Skopje. Until that point, the Azzurri had played 2 games, the first lost in Naples against England and the second won in Malta. Later, Luciano Spalletti took charge, leading the team to 3 victories, 2 draws, and 1 defeat, while Mancini chose to become the coach of Saudi Arabia. So far, he has won 2 games, along with a draw and three losses.
