She’s one of the most recognizable voices on cable news — but when it comes to her personal life, Laura Ingraham keeps things surprisingly private.
Never married — but came close
Laura Ingraham, host of The Ingraham Angle on Fox News, has never been married — despite coming close once.
In April 2005, Ingraham got engaged to James V. Reyes, a Washington, D.C., businessman. However, the couple called off the wedding plans after Ingraham received a breast cancer diagnosis and had to undergo surgery.
Though marriage wasn’t in the cards, Ingraham later focused on growing her family in another way — through adoption.
Today, she’s a proud mom of three children: Maria Caroline, Michael Dmitri, and Nikolai Peter.
She even shared a sweet tribute on Instagram recently for her daughter’s birthday:
“Happy Birthday to my sweet, beautiful, and sassy daughter, Maria! 💖 I love you so much!”
Romances with powerful men
While Ingraham has kept much of her private life under wraps, she has been linked to a few influential names over the years.
During her time at Dartmouth University, Ingraham reportedly dated — and was briefly engaged to — Dinesh D’Souza, the political commentator and filmmaker.
Their relationship didn’t last, but their friendship endured. In 2014, when D’Souza faced sentencing for campaign finance violations, Ingraham wrote a heartfelt letter defending him.
“Dinesh is simply one of the finest human beings I have ever met,” she told the court. “His generosity, compassion, and devotion to country are what I hope my own children exhibit when they mature into adults.”
Choosing privacy over the spotlight
Despite her high-profile media career, Laura Ingraham has consistently drawn a sharp line between her public life and her private world.
While she debates politics on national television nightly, she rarely discusses her dating history, relationships, or family in interviews — preferring to keep those parts of her life away from the cameras.
Today, Ingraham remains a fiercely private figure — balancing cable news fame with quiet devotion to her family.
Her decision to shield her personal life has only added to her intrigue — and solidified her place as one of Fox News’ most enigmatic stars.
