Horrible news for the Lakers and LeBron James ahead of the most important part of the season

Bron is expected to undergo under more tests, here’s how long he’s expected to be out

LeBron James may be sidelined for a ‘relatively long’ period, with early reports suggesting he could miss around two weeks, all in the most crucial part of the season, losing rhythm and team balance.

While that might sound manageable, the dense NBA schedule means even a one-week absence could translate into missing three to four games, and a two-week recovery could keep him out for up to seven or eight matchups. Pretty much at this point

According to ESPN insider Shams Charania, the current outlook points to a one-to-two-week absence, though the Lakers star is set to undergo additional testing to confirm the extent of the injury.

Now at 40 years old, the Lakers are mindful of managing his workload and recovery carefully, especially as they share the second place in the Western Conference.

James sustained the injury during a recent road loss against the Boston Celtics. Before leaving the game and heading to the locker room with 6:44 remaining on the clock, he had already put together an impressive stat lineโ€”just shy of a triple-doubleโ€”with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists.

It’s not too serious, we’ll have to take it day by day. I’ve been there before and I know what kind of injury we’re talking about,” Said Bron after the game

James has been a consistent force this season, averaging 25 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game. His absence will undoubtedly be felt as the team navigates a demanding schedule in the most competitive part of the season.
